I am a recovering opiate addict that currently has 21 months of sobriety while on a suboxone MAT program. Prior to my relapse in October of 2021, I had 6 years of sobriety under my belt. I spent 12 years in an extremely abusive relationship. I have 6 children and I am a single mother. Relapsing in OCtober 2021 led me to a near fatal overdose in April 2022. I immediately sought out MAT and have been clean since the night I overdosed. I checked myself into a long term treatment progam and spent 120 days in patient, graduated and chose to go to a sober living facility where I completed outpatient treatment and stayed 10 months before moving back into my own apartment. I have had the most horrific and the most beautiful experiences in life. I love listening to others and inspiring them with my triumphs.
